Character glitched out, turned invisible and now I cant load into the game

During my last game session yesterday morning I was trying to complete one of the new challenges of season 2 (grinding around the entire roof of the stadium in Brickswitch, can't remember what the challenge was called or if it is even related) When trying to exit the grind near the end of the challenge my character randomly started glitching out and turned half invisible. I then returned to my marker on top of the stadium, back at the start of the challenge and my character was now completely invisible. None of the inputs would work so I had to alt tab and exit the game. Upon trying to restart the game I now keep getting stuck at the black loading screen and no matter what I try I can't load in and am always stuck on the loading screen. I've read online and tried every single troubleshooting method to fix this  but so far no luck. I tried loading into the game on an alt steam account and was able to play so the issue has to somehow be related to my main account and not the game files. This just really sucks because season 2 has just started and I had a lot of cosmetic items on my account and now I can't even play it. I've read here that other people are having the same issue so I'm mostly just writing this to get the awareness out there and so hopefully a hotfix or something can be pushed out sooner rather than later.
