Keeps crashing before loading in.

I have had success by turning off the XMP setting in my BIOS I haven't crashed since I turned it off.

I solved this by making the game load in windowed mode. 

I believe this is related to the anti cheat and windows defender. And the game forcing full screen and like a 480p resolution on first load.

I got the idea was from BloodShotBreeze

What worked for me:

1. verifying the files just incase. EA: Library -> Triple dots -> Repair. | Steam: Library -> right click Skate. -> Properties -> Installed Files -> Verify integrity of game files.
2. Opening the Skate. directory through EA launcher. EA: Library -> triple dots -> view properties -> open folder | Steam: Library -> right click Skate. -> hover over manage -> select browse local files. 
3. I then opened EAAntiCheat.GameSeriveLauncher.exe. (You either double left click or right click and select open)
4. wait for the program to update or fix something. (I’m not knowledgeable about what it exactly does.) 
5. It launched for me without the black screen problem. 

I can’t remember the profile name, but I tried their method. I’m just here to give my two cents of this problem.

Fixed the infinite black skate. loading screen for PC on Steam, so the game will open! YOU have to open up your EA Anti cheat game service launcher. Click "repair," locate your game file skate. & try it now! The game will still crash and freeze if your don't have a high end PC though. 

xbox one does the same always crashes

Been playing Skate for a while and never has it crashed; 1 update and new season and i cant even do a trick without getting kicked out the game and it crashing; super frustrating !  Ran smooth up and until the update ! Thanks EA for messing up a good game ! Im on PC playing on EA casue Skate on steam didnt even want to launch. The game is littraly unplayable !
