MEGA THREAD: QD Items Not Working

This specific issue refers to the inability to put QD items down. 

The hold right on the D-Pad bug is a known issue (check The Weekly Grind - Sept 8, 2026).

Please provide the following information while the team investigates.

Where are you experiencing the issue (San Van, Grom, The Stadium, S.U.M.R. Camp)? 

We are aware of the issue and working on a resolution. 

I have the same issue but only on grom, havent tested on sumr camp yet, but seems to be the same, im on pc just for clarification

Funny thing is, is bought the new Nike Bundle and cant even use the objects 😂😂

Same. Can't build anywhere since the update.

Same here. I thought I was going crazy but apparently, you can placed at certain location (Eg. Rockbottom Lodge & Fishing Hole) but sometimes, it's random whenever youre in San Van, Stadium or at Isle of Grom.

There's no limit when placing them though but it will disappear the moment you exit the build mode. 

Just like no_stims​ was saying, I had this a lot last night. Particularly on the new map.

Items seemingly let me place them then just disabled and got locked entirely in place. Was playing in a small group with last night and this was happening to most of us unfortunately.

Same here, when selecting an item it spawns in the "disabled" state and cannot be moved/rotated/placed/interacted with and will remain in this state until you exit the quick build menu
