I been having this problem for one week whit no fix. I have tried everything, restarting the game, unistalling it, fix the files in steam and the anticheat of EA and nothing works. I hope to get an answer soon because i buy the skate pass season 3 and i cant even play in it.
I had a similar issue, this is what worked for me.
After the latest update my game still doesnt work.
Upvoting as I am having the exact same problem and made a detailed post about. After the Season 3 update the game refuses to start up and will completely freeze my entire computer requiring a hard reset through using the power button.
Still nothing. I pay for the season 3 pass and cant play. Want a refund.
