Skate stuck on configuring

Son downloaded this game on ps5, when on the start mission (jumping off the ramp, he crashed, respawned, then his character was stuck on the command "press triangle to get on your skateboard". Could get on the skateboard but couldn't move). We then closed and reopened the game, now we are constantly stuck on the loading screen saying "configuring". An error pops up eventually:

Error code: 602905846

Advice please, is this server side or is this something we can fix on the user side?
