What MIssion/Challenge: Any Co-Op Mission/Challenge in a party.

What happens: When joining a party and the party leader initiates a co-op mission/challenge, I am consistently getting stuck in a "limbo" state where I can still skate around as normal, but am unable to access any of the menus or UI elements, cannot see other players, the challenge does not progress to the actual portion to complete the challenge, and the only way out of this "limbo" state is to Alt+F4 to force-close the game.
Edit: Nevermind, now it's doing it every time I enter a mission/challenge even solo, which now makes completing any challenge related tasks impossible to do and further limits rewards able to be earned.
