I start a challenge and the challenge never starts. The HUD disappears and I can't access the pause menu or any of the in-game menus. I can still skate around but it looks like the game has put me into some sort of limbo world where there are no other players and I'm not doing a challenge. Just stuck in-between. The only way to fix it is to End Task and re-open the game. It happens constantly though, so that doesn't really fix anything anyway.
Same, can't finish multiplayer Tasks since starting challenges doesn't work.
+1 still happening. restarting/waiting on javelin/configuring is also ridiculously annoying, i literally just hop off for the day whenever this happens now.

Community ManagerI've completed everything except the co-op challenges.
Every time I try to play a co-op challenge with my friend, one of us joins the challenge and the other is forced into free skate, all challenges disappear and the start menu is completely disabled.
The only way to fix this is by completely restarting the game, I haven't managed to complete a single co-op challenge, this has happened every single time I have attempted to play one.
For me, the issue happened with any challenge that was started. I was joining random players, so the specific challenge varied, but every one of them caused the same problem.
It seems like the issue might be connected to the "invisible / lagging party member"-bug. In all the sessions where the challenges failed to start, the other players I joined were either lagging heavily or completely invisible. After restarting the game several times and joining different players, I eventually ended up in a session where the other player was visible and not lagging, and with that player, every challenge we tried worked normally (including challenges that had previously caused the issue).
I also tried disabling cross-play to see if it made a difference, but from what I could tell it didn’t affect the issue. Challenges still failed, and people were still invisible or lagging.

It happened to me whenever I try to quickly start the mission. Meaning that I noticed it will only occurred when I have low connection to the server (stuttering players in my world) and I dont let all the mission goals load in the list on the left side before the mission starts.
