Stuck on black screen upon launching game

This has been an issue since early beta access days…It seemed fixed for a bit, but lately it’s happening again. When I launch Skate from Steam, it gets stuck on an all black screen and it completely freezes my PC. I have to hard reset my PC just to get it working again. The “fix” is to open another application, then windows tab over when Skate is done launching. Please fix this, as this could be affecting many people’s PCs. It’s almost as if y’all don’t even read or check these forums or listen to any feedback whatsoever, it’s so baffling.

    Same issue still hasn’t been fixed…this is one of the many reasons I barely play this game anymore. We need more content badly, what am I supposed to do with rip chips once I have all the boxes unlocked??

    Holy, this issue has just happened to me, I’ve dmed the skate page. I create content on the game daily through my social media. This is a total bombshell, I’ve updated everything. Drivers, bios, the ea app, repaired game files, re downloaded the game. Nothing works. And the fact this thread was 5 months ago says everything about the team developing the game. Fix it before more leave ( I’ve dropped hella bread in this game too so also another reason I’m not happy )
