In the order 66 era battle the dramatic entrance bonus damage randomly stops working at different points of battle despite the unit still having it. You can see it in my attached video.

CG releasing something that's bugged and/or ridiculously overtuned?! *gasp* Let me put on my surprised face.
Update. It appears in the code adding query_galactic_legend_enemy_all_or_raidboss into the APPO ability like in the appo datacron should fix the bug.
