Empire Basic Training Event Tier IV

I am experiencing a bug with the Empire Basic Training Event Tier IV, whereby the characters' speed doesn't match the mandatory next step, and as such, I am unable to progress with this event. I have tried on a mobile and PC platform as well, both cases the experience is the same. The sequence is the following:
1. Use Grand Admiral's Command to exchange turn meter with Emperor Palpatine. - Correct
2. Attack withPower of the dark side to damage and stun... - Correct
3. Strike with Fracture to debuff Luke Skywalker. - Correct
4. Use Let Hate Flow to grant Health Steal up to your party - ERROR - at this point, I'm on Vader and can only use Terrifying Swing
At this point the sequence goes wrong I think...
5. Use Let Hate Flow to grant Health Steal up to your party - Technically Correct, at this point, I'm back on the emperor and can use this ability. 
6. Continue the assault with FORCE CRUSH to deal more AoE... - ERROR - At this point I'm forced to use the Shoretrooper's Regroup ability
7. Have the Shoretrooper use REGROUP... - ERROR - At this point I'm forced to use the Tie Fighter Pilot's TIE Strike Ability
8. Finally top it off with an AoE attack from TIE Strike - ERROR - At this point I would be forced to use Thrawn's Fracture ability again, but it is on cooldown, so I'm unable to progress further. 
At this point, I'm stuck, the only button I would be able to click would be Fracture ability, but of course I can't use it, and I'm forced to Alt-F4/close the game via task manager.
