It seems with the recent update (TU 37.2 iirc) when shard count for G13 non-7-star units was added, it was added to both the player view-self and player view-other menus, as seen in the attached screenshot. I have verified this bug on PC and iOS.
To replicate this simply find an account with a unit that is G13 but not 7 star, and then view them through the ally/guild-member/GAC menus.
