With all due respect, sir... what bad behavior am I defending?  I may be wrong, and I willingly admit that I have been before, but I see nothing wrong with the Grand Arena.  Like Notthatotherguy, I am a small, new account (f2p even) that regularly goes against much, MUCH larger accounts.  However, I have been almost unaffected by it.  If you are good at the game, you progress... if not, you don't.  Interestingly, there are many people who complain in the Kyber division about small players with super low GPU (in comparison) absolutely destroying them.  I don't know.  I do see your point, but I don't think change on EA or CG's behalf is necessary... I think it is the role of the player to change or adapt and become better.  However, all I have said is the less well worded version of what Notthatotherguy has said.

Your argument is specious. I am a 2.something M GP player in carbonite 3 currently. I started my account less than three months ago. I am the definition of a small, new, player. It seems you made a false assumption, and I’ll accept your apology.

I am regularly matched against accounts with two, three, or four times my GP. They aren’t harassing or abusing me, they’re simply being matched against other accounts with the same rating. I don’t take it personally, because it’s not. By doing so they are losing crystal income which is moving to other, smaller, accounts and it all trickles down. I have little doubt that within a few months I can move up to Chromium and accelerate progress even faster. This would be slowed or prevented by having a GP floor for accounts in GAC. As such, rather than abusing me they are in fact giving me a leg-up.

You’re also ignoring the fact that players in Carbonite need to use, at most, six teams and two fleets. This is enough to fill all slots on defence and for one attack per zone on offence. The advantage of these big GP accounts is much less than you believe, indeed it seems as though most of your issues with this mode are perceptual.

Other people disagreeing with you doesn’t mean that they’re wrong. Mkay.

GodlsOnTheMove​  Why are you defending bad behavior? Took stuff completely out of context, it's not about the wins streak it's about the bracket draw. What part of that you can't understand? I do notice he wrote something, but I'm not even going to read it, I'm never reading him again.  

Notthatotherguy​ Suggestion for CG: Prevent high GP players from being in the lowest ranking and harass new players, preventing them form enjoying the game and ranking up. 

When 10 million galactic power player deliberately stays in lower ranking and abuse the fact that new players do not have many characters, what do you call that, what are they doing to new players? Is it harassment, it isn't it?! So it way worst for them to be able to do that then preventing them from being there. You do not care for new players one bit, that is very clear. 

GP cap for how far players can fall is an awful idea. Please do not suggest it again.  It would limit how high players could rise because CG are going to keep the same % of total players in each league/division to maintain the crystal economy. By gating how far high GP players can fall you limit how high smaller players can rise. It would make GP differences worse not better. 

GAC matchmaking (such as it is) isn’t great, but by having it as it is smaller players can grow faster, accelerate progress, and start to reach a GP where we can beat the fallen giants. The long term is better even if it doesn’t feel it in the short term.

I don't think he was trying to harass you.  I think that, like me, he was confused why you thought the Grand Arena is unfair.  I could be wrong, though.  I am sad that you will be stopping the Grand Arena, though... 😕.
