I previously had enough materials to upgrade all my era characters to 75 and a few levels beyond for some characters. I was just waiting on earning enough currency. With the new update, I no longer have enough materials without spending more money or crystals
Yesterday I had the items I needed to take KX security droid to level 60+ but I didn’t have the currency needed. Today I have the currency but now the items required for him have completely changed I need 1000’s of mark 1 items just to get him into the 30’s, items that are $8.99 for 900 or 499 crystals for even less. I feel like I’m being punished for not upgrading him prior to the update. I’m on tier 7 of all the coliseum bosses so there is no reason I shouldn’t be able to get him to at least level 60…
For reference, I apparently have 3000 mk 1 Grek ability modules, I don’t know if that’s the amount I had yesterday, but it currently takes 23,000 to get KX to just level 35. That means I’d have to buy 20,000 for either $200 or spend and ungodly amount of crystals. I can’t even get him to level 21 to complete the 3 era challenge requirement. seems like this update is full of bugs and wasn’t entirely thought out before being released. I get that they’re changing the way era units will be upgraded, but I think at least I assumed, it would be for the era moving forward not retroactively going to apply to the last days of this current era, effectively screwing people who were waiting for the extra currency they needed to finish upgrading their era units. Combine that with the inability to pass 28% on the current boss, and whatever host of other bugs await us, this has to be one of the most poorly thought out and executed releases yet.
Not sure if this is the worst. They have set themselves a very high bar with most rollouts.
Same. I had enough materials to get my last 3 characters to Level 75 / R0. I just needed to farm more currency. Now most is gone. (Had 15k Mk II Form Ability Module, now 2k, had 24k Mk III module, now 1k, etc).
I had my Dedra (lvl 49) and Partagaz (lvl 46) poised to hit level 65+ as I earned more era level currency. Today's update changed the leveling material requirements so now that's impossible without spending. The update shouldn't have ruined progression for the current era. Will there be either a reversion of the materials reqs or compensation to make this right?

Did you get the legendary at 5 stars ?
The materials to upgrade past level 70 is only if you unlock the legendary at 5 stars or higher or if you bougth pact with real money

For everyone that spent actual money to buy Era materials, contact Apple, Android, etc and file a complaint. You purchased something with the understanding that you could convert it into X. Now EA has changed the value of what you purchased but still wants to charge you the original price. . This is fraud. Apple will reverse the charges, and I suspect other platforms will too. Otherwise contact your credit card company, they will reverse the charges too. This is the only way EA will actually listen - if they have money taken from them.
I intended to use las Andor era week to upgrade my 2 remaining characters (Dedra and Partagaz) to from era level 57 to 65., and LS characters to 67-70 or more if mossible, depending only on currency given by the last episode track crate.
When I checked 2 days ago, those upgrades were requiring Tyoe 6 Besh and Superior Core materials (refer to Excel sheet screenshot). But I didn't have enough currency.
Today I'm surprised to see that the requirement have changed and consist of Type 3 Esk material, which I don't have, since I spent them on low era levels (around 40 I think). Dedra and Partagaz are stuck to levels 60 and 63 because of these changes and this Type 3 Esk requirement. Same for the other characters I already upgraded to 65 (Vel, Cinta, Cassian, KX)
I suppose these changed in required materials were intended to apply only to next NewRep era, and hope you will very soon fix this, before the end of this era.

For levels 55-75 it is using the wrong material (the lvl 26-36 material) causing people to not have enough resources to upgrade all the way to level 75 after unlocking cassian undercover
I think the new costs should have been applied only to the next era.
As I can see here, that NewRep era has only 4 characters. I suppose it will lats 8 weeks instead of 12, the upgrade costs (and/orrewards) had to be modified to ensure a similar progression to the current era.Suggestion : give players enough Type 3-4 materials to ensure the upgrade of all of their Andor characters to level 70 (including Cassian if unlocked). In any case, free players will be hampered by a lack of currency.
