When trying to complete the Character Quest "Defeat 10 Pirates with Vane present", it doesn't count if you defeat any of those Rodian pirates, despite they have the word "Pirate" in their name. They should have the Pirate tag, just like other NPC can have tags like Droid, Clone Trooper, Imperial Trooper, Jedi, etc.

Not only in the Droid Smuggling event, but in all of the other: in energy, cantina and mod battles, or in the Felucia, Tatooine and Kessel missions of the BT. It's just adding the Pirate tag to those five NPC.
