At about 2:30 in the first battle of my GAC today the controls disappeared. Also, switching the battle to auto didnt allow me to resume it.
When the timer ran out, the battle did not conclude, so I had to forfeit it.
Finally, after exiting the battle it showed as still in progress - this refreshed after clicking on one of the remaining battles and going back to the sector screen
I realize that this is an old issue (seen similar reports from at least 1 year ago, but happened for me for the 1st time in GAC), and I'm not sure if it still makes sense for me to report it. I hope though that if you're for whatever reason unable to find a proper solution to it, you could at least implement a walk-around so that such crashed battles are not taken into account as concluded, an can be retried with the same squad or sth.
