[AA] Formative Moment: 'Be a good student' does not fulfill if already A student

I have all packs, including the new adventure awaits one. Both my child sim got the "be a good student" formative moment challenge. One challenge is get a B or an A in school. My first sim was already an A student when i took the challenge, and it never fullfills the task, even though several schooldays have past as an A student. My second sim got the challenge before meeting the requirement, but still it did not fullfill once he was a B student.

I don't know this would be directly related, but it does feel like it is, but my child Sim was a B student when she got that formative moment, and I think that because I was away with a different Sim when she got back home, it didn't recognise that her grade had improved to A.

How do you start formative moments? Mine is the be a good student social challenge? Or any of them in general please? I meant to add the suggested challenges

I have the same issue. No mods installed all packs, kits etc. Student already an A student so can't fulfill the challenge.
