Hello. The Adventure Awaits expansion pack was working fine the first day i installed it, but now the "plan getaway" option does not seem to be working properly anymore. The minute my sim reaches their planned getaway destination, immediately they are asked to extend their stay. I will try to extend it but it just repeatedly asks to extend and keeps deducting the cost from their account. I've tried repairing the game, using old game saves, new game saves, etc. and it is still not working properly. Also, i do not use any mods in my game.
I just found out it works if i use the calendar, but if i use the phone it keeps asking me to extend the stay.
Just want to bump this up, as I'm having the same exact issue. I just purchased the Adventure pack a few days ago and am unable to go on a getaway. It asks if I want to extend my getaway before it even starts. I'm forced to end the getaway and return the household back home. I do use mods in my game (lots of them 😂) and have updated the ones that have caused issues in the past with previous game packs.
Having the same issue! Works using the calendar, but not the phone? Strange.
What worked for me to fix this issue is when setting up the getway don't set an exact end time.
I am also having this issue. I followed suggestions and made the getaway from the calendar, not my phone, and I did not choose an exact end time and it is working now. Thank you for the suggestions.
