[AA] Kids Camp Getaways Automatically End Before Starting/too early

Hello! New here but I have been playing sims for years.

I downloaded Adventure Awaits yesterday and I have an issue with kids camps specifically.

Fitness retreats work fine, but as soon as my sim arrives at kids camp it comes up with the ‘your getaway is ending do you want to extend or go home’ pop up. If I press extend it just comes straight back up again. I have tried different set ups, locations, sims etc. I have repaired and restarted my game but it’s not working.

does anyone else have this issue? I play on a windows laptop and have no mods or cc.

How many days are you playing ? Played this during early access period and had no issue but retesting rn.

Did you simply choose the preset or change anything ?

which console are you on laurenlhenley

Also if you an play a few hours yours sounds a bit different then OP or did you have both instances ?

Even when you play with the camp for a few hours, then exit the game, when you open the game back up it starts the entire camp over and says that it has ended and if we'd like to extend.

This doesn't work. I play on console and I'm still having this problem with the kids camp.

HI laurenlhenley

Could you try the following:

- Close the game
- Rename Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 to Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
