This is the way. I really feel like we have to be vocal and let them know about oversights like this. It's the same for back in the day when they "forgot" to give us the Island Counter in Island Living. We made a whole thing about it and it was patched in. When the rice dish in For Rent didn't look anything like it was supposed to they listened to our complaints and they fixed it. We have the power to make this game the way we think it should be.
While it's not a bug I feel it's an oversight which is also something that needs fixing.
