SIGNIFICANT UPDATE: I tested in a new save file with a different household renaming the folder to "The Sims 4_Backup" and following the process as recommended. I discovered that the higher the Fitness skill level, the less they move on the spinning bike. I attach a new video with 3 Sims, where from left to right the Fitness levels are 2, 5, and 10, respectively. Clearly the level 10 one does not exercise at all if compared with the other two Sims.
When I send my Sims to mount the spinning bike, they barely move their legs, meaning that they make the bike movement for 3 seconds or so and stay mounted doing nothing/in an idle state, but they do make the drinking animation while on the bike from time to time.
I already tested without mods, cleaning localthumbcache and repairing the game via EA App. My Sim was Energized, all needs in good state and nothing was blocking the bike grid, and it happened both in the household lot and while on the Fitness Retreat, where there is considerably more space than in my own lot's gym space. Also my Sim has maxed the Fitness skill .
I attach proof. I had to cut the video to meet the max file size, so sorry if it ends up blurry and short, but the lack of action just keeps repeating over 1 minute of my original video.
Edit: I forgot to mention that this lack of animation does not change if there is a spinning instructor because if affects both my Sims and other guests if I'm at a Fitness Retreat.
