My sims seam bugged on getaways, im not using mods or anything in the game but my sim is on a getaway and they do activities then stand around and do nothing, resetting them isnt working either.

Checking with CM if this should be merged with the existing issue with Sims not doing much on getaways.
I have the same problem. I play on xbox and i have done two getaways and both times my sims keep freezing. This can be NPC and mu control sims. It happened so much I ended up coming off as you just cant play the game. Time is moving yet the sims are just stuck. Resetsim also doesnt work. Attached is a screen shot before I left the game. The sim in the brown jacket was the only one that was moving, all the rest were just stuck.

I think my issue is similar to yours. But, I haven’t tested with a new save file yet.
My Sims often lag for about 15-60 seconds (real life), just standing around. I usually pause the game and time it with a stopwatch, after about a minute, their activities usually run smoothly. Sometimes, though, I still need to reset a Sim, hit pause again, and wait it out.
My save file is 87 MB, and yes I do play with lots of households as a rotational player 😔✊

Sims seem to stand around when you give them a task to do, I've noticed it more during a getaway and it's not just sims in my household standing round, it's the townies doing it aswell
I have a custom venue which is a teen roller-rink place and I assigned two staff and gave them the following three tasks - tend tea/coffee bars and counters (including bubble tea), clean, repair. All they do is either stand around or play on the arcade machines. None of my sims can buy any bubble tea as the counter is permanently left un-manned.
I am having this same issue. My sim was offered a chance to do the Love Highland Getaway. I took it, and at first, everything was fine—he was able to flirt and interact with another sim. It was bedtime, so everyone else just went to bed as expected. Eventually, I sent my sim to bed too. Everything was fine until the morning. Instead of getting breakfast or talking or even moving, all the sims just stood by their beds, frozen and not moving, including my sim. I tried resetting him and sending him to the bathroom, but he just stood by the toilet while his needs dropped. After two hours (in-game), I gave up and cancelled the getaway.
My save file isn't huge: 28 MB. I do have residential rentals, but not an overwhelming amount, only 13 total for the whole game, and over half of them are just shells. My lots are not overstuffed. Willow Creek, Magnolia Promenade, Tomarang, and Sulani are completely blank. I have been porting my sims and builds over to this save fresh, so it's only a few months old. I'm playing on a relatively new Gaming PC, and my specs are well above the minimum for the game:

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
This issue has only become a problem for me since the last update (12/2). Before that, Getaways worked fine. Well, not fine. I had all the normal bugs with sims doing odd things and the occasional role not showing up, but they were functional.
