After completing an adoption event and choosing a pet to adopt, the pet does not join my household. I get the "are you sure?" pop up and the name change pop up, then... nothing. I have tried to add pets to my household using testing cheats, and nothing happens. Strangely, I have been able to create a new sim with a pet, move them in to a household that cannot adopt a pet, then kick out the sim I created.
I have no mods or CC.
