Adoption Center not responding

The "Call the Adoption Center" option on the phone is not working properly. I can still add people and pets to the household in other ways, but not through the phone. The interaction simply does not engage at all. I believe this is a recent issue, possibly since the most recent update. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? (Have never used any mods or CC of any kind.)
