Adults/teens/children at work/school on reload trying to skip work/school

This happened to me too - I had a sim at work, traveled with my other sim to a park which appeared to cause the sim that was at work to come home early. 

This is happening to me also and I haven't updated to the newest patch yet, waiting for them to figure out the drag and pull things to trash can and sink bug before I do.  When I load the lot my child Sim gets a notification of do I really want to come home, then, if I leave the home lot with any of my other Sims while the child is at school I get the notification they are done for the day even though it is like 9 am in game. Update on this, I finally updated and was able to finish this weeks Natures calling quests and as soon as I did my child Sim was able to stay at school even when another Sim left the lot. Don't know why the event quest not being completed would have affected it, very strange. Will test if same issue happens with the next set of quests when they unlock.

I've have this error occour on/off in my game for ages. It usually goes away, if I delete the localthumbscache.package file, or do a hard reset of the Sims 4 documents folder. Have you tried that? 

I also have this issue constantly when traveling/loading a lot. Now all their performance is in the garbage because they decided to leave work/school without the ability to send them back! Making the game quite unplayable for me!

It has been happening since last weeks patch (before the basegame update)

There is already a bug open for this, also happens when I leave CAS and load the family again. It started happening for me since the update on 1/7/2025 though. 

Started happening in my game after the July update. Both kids were at school, mum went to a park for the natures calling event goal, she returned home at around 11am in game time soon as she loaded into their home lot both her kids returned from school with merely satisfactory grades because they left early 🧐 PS4 version, no in game cheats, no mods or CC. 

This also happened to me. My sim was working out at the gym and then went to work, but since I only have one sim I was teleported to the house and my sim was back immediately only earning 6 simoleons. This also happened the next work day, but instead she only earned 3. Her performance at work went down because of this

This has been happening to me too! If my high school students go to school and the parents go to work, everyone returns home at 3pm. I stopped going to high school or doing extra activities if anyone is at work. It's rather annoying to play like this.  

It also happens if you enter CAS and then go back. 

One of my sims is a mixologist and works at night and I cannot travel with my other sims without him coming home from work early with no prompts asking. And vice versa when hes home during the day and theyre at school/work. I travel to the bar and he ends up at home ending his shift early. Just started happening to me today :(
