Been having this issue for a while. If I queue up multiple playing it sometimes does check off, but never if it's just the one interaction.
Playing with the imaginary friend dolls [AA] doesn't appear to count either, but I can't tell if that's just to do with this bug or a separate issue.
Mac, no mods.
