I've tested without them and I'm using a Mac.

In both a new save and a legacy save I've found sims are autonomously fighting more than before the most recent update, to the point of it being excessive.
It looks to be sims are just autonomously choosing violence with no provocation, it is funny however just a bit excessive.A random townie turned up to my lot, I introduced myself then, the sims ended up autonomously fighting. My Sim also had a fight with her neighbour, I've attached their traits to show they do not have any negative traits or sentiments. I've also noticed townies randomly fighting when my sim is out in the world, it is also happening during goaled events and to family members with no previous negative sentiments or traits.
Unsure if this is also related to the sabotage action being available for sims without the relevant traits or events, but thought it best to report. The fights are also not counted towards the sims stats even though the sim gets confident or dazed moodlet. Its also happening with and without Mods installed, Only Mod being used was the updated MCC however have since reverted this and the issue is still happening. I do not play with CC.
Running Version 1.118.242.1030 DX11
I don't own all the packs and I have added a screenshot of the ones I do have. Let me know if there is any other information that would be helpful. - crinrict5 months agoHero+
Thanks
To be sure, it's not during an event like this thread: Sims autonomously fight during events | EA Forums - 12501755 ?
Do you have any NAPs active ? Which world is your family living in ?

Hello,
It was pretty consistently happening over multiple Sims days and during events and when when I turned the lot into a small business.
The only NAP showing was the "Self Sufficiency" Then "Rock your body (and Mind)" as it was a new save I primarily was playing. The Lot is Mid-nowhere in Windenburg.
I have since done some more testing and found that turning the roughhousing-encouraged NAP on, letting it run then repeal it has helped calm things down, at least there has been a full day without a fight on the lot which helps! I haven't had a chance to play much since tho.
I did notice that the same level of fighting was happening both when I raised the issue and with the Roughhousing enabled plan on. Could be that the plan was causing the fighting and it just wasn't showing as enabled in game. - crinrict5 months agoHero+
So it was only happening in that neighborhood ? Did any negative relationships result ? Windenburg itself has some kind of encourage brawls so it's happening there more often.

I haven't had this autonomously with sims in my household, so I don't know if it's related, but sims also have the option to fight even if the conversation is pleasant and they have a good relationship.
If it's been happening more since the last patch it's likely related to the sabotage / swipe objects bugs?

I just had this in my vanilla (no mods or cc - mods folder fully removed to be safe) test save. Two sims that had maxed friendship (no romance) were having a friendly conversation and then autonomously had a fight... and then autonomously started flirting after the fight was over.
Like the last reply, I'm seeing the fight option available on Sims with full friendship bars. There's no event going on nor any NAPs like Free Love or Roughhousing Encouraged.
I'm playing on MacOS. - knewlin095 months agoNew Spectator
It is not during an event, just randomly during the day. Living in Copperdale and no NAPs active

Having autonomous fights in Britechester. No holidays and no NAPs. Both with NPCs and with active household. Happens between sims who were previously strangers or had a good relationship.

I sent my Sims to a nightclub and out of nowhere they started fighting almost immediately out the front, LOL.
And then the same Sim that initiated the fight later fought with his partner, and then started flirting... both Sims rejected each other despite it coming from them both and their relationship meter started drastically dropping.
