I'm experiencing this in my dynasty family currently, but it's kind of fun lol, I like the drama

This likely isn't the cause for all issues related to this but one potential cause I have noticed:
I have two sims who had a bitter about breakup sentiment a long time ago (as Teens and they are Elders now) and it is fully gone from their relationship profile now, but they still have the option to "ask what their problem is" in the mean category as if the negative sentiment were still active
I feel like it's not gone away properly (similar to how the crush sentiment never seems to fully go away even when it's gone from the sentiment panel unless your teen "gets over" it) so it's causing the sims to be mean to each other - koala2010k27 days agoNew Spectator
For some reason, my Sims will be autonomously mean to other members of their family/dynasty for no reason. It is mostly the mother who has the family-oriented and loyal traits and has no negative family dynamics, will start screaming at her husband and children for no reason?? The teens will sometimes start acting mean as well, for no reason at all, but it is not as often as their mother.
One of their dynasty values is to be Diplomatic, but there is nothing in her simology or her rank within the family that contradicts this or would make her act out. She is only mean to people in her family and has no problem with Sims outside the dynasty lmao

Just started a new game yesterday with a dynasty family. I have grandparents (the husband is the head of the dynasty), their daughter (the heir) and her husband, and their daughter. The heir's husband keeps having mean interactions automatically towards her. I first noticed this when the game gave me a prompt to change their relationship into "difficult" status. He has no evil or mean traits.
Edit. just after this noticed that it's not affecting only that one sim, but also the grandma wants to insult her husband...

This issue is cropping up again after the last update unfortunately, and now it's everyone. None of my Sims have the mean or evil traits, or even erratic. One of them has the generous trait and felt all guilty afterwards because she yelled at her sister out of nowhere :(
I submitted my file before, but I can send it in again if needed. I do use mods but it was still happening in my unmodded backup.

Hi Magictastee
I merged your post with the bug report.

Remember last year’s bug when sims were being mean autonomously… sims that had no business being mean? Is this happening again to anyone else? I disabled Eco Lifestyle as my current NAP was Roughhousing Encouraged. That did not fix the problem. They have no negative sentiments. They were happily married and now relationship and friendship is down to half because the husband won’t stop yelling at her. He’s in a positive mood. I’m playing The Sims 4 on Xbox X. Is the bug back for anyone else? What else can I do?

Hi I am on ps5 and every time I talk to another sim they get a negative moodlet and hate each other. It’s so frustrating as can’t bond or crate families please can I fix this?
