Autonomous sleeping uses wrong side of bed

I have a double bed where I have assigned the left side of the bed for a Sim, but whenever she decides to go sleep autonomously, she first walks to the right side of the bed which is taken, cancels action and then walks to the left side as she should.

I would instead expect the Sim to try directly go to the left side of the bed. This issue to me at least seems like it started to only occur after latest update.
