I started this save file a while back on this computer when I got Snowy Escape on sale.
Now let me introduce you to the cast of my bug report.
Sim A: Sandy Nishidake (m) Young Adult, Vampire
Sim B: Chihiro Hashimoto (f) Young Adult
They had twins Eduardo & Chester Hashimoto (m)
Sandy was dating Chihiro for an extended period of time while living in Henford on Bagley with 2 other young adult Vampire sims. After a few date events they had unprotected WooHoo (try for baby) at the pub in Windenburg. When Chihiro came around a few days later I became aware of the suspected pregnancy. At the time I was tying up loose ends and moving out the other sims from Sandys lot to go live in Forgotten Hollow. In that time, I was too slow, and Chihiro had our twins. They got the random names of Eduardo & Chester Hashimoto. I then dug up the Not in World Hashimoto family and moved then into an unoccupied Tiny Home I had set up previously in Mt. Komorebi. An in-game day later Sandy went over to Chihiro new house and went from partners to Proposed. Then they proceeded to ask Chihiro to move in. I took all the money and family from the Hashimoto household and added it to mine. I left the tiny home in the world and did not sell it.
Sounds like a happy ever after, right?
This is where things when wrong. After I added Her and our babies to the family it when south. First it added them all correctly to Sandys family. Tho the 2 babies where still on the Tiny Home lot. I figured that they would "move" when we both went back to the home lot. Yes and no on that line of thought. Yes, I got babies on my Henford on Bagley home lot. No, we still have 2 "functional" babies on the Mt. Komorebi Tiny Home lot. My plan was to convert the Tiny Home into a Retail Store because I just purchased Get to Work on sale yesterday. While I was in build mode I saw the Tiny Home Pair of babies for the first time. Not knowing what to do I tried ageing up the Henford on Bagley pair of Babies. That worked and now I have 2 infants. My sim Sandy purchased the retail lot with the other 2 babies on it. Now those 2 Mt. Komorebi babies still exist and have correct names. The odd thing is they both are now babies with the listed life stage of infant. When I try to age up the Mt. Komorebi pair the action fails/cancels. Both babies still cry and, I think, function.
In short:
Sim A, Sandy, proposed and asked their fiancée to move in. This brought sim B, Chihiro their twins with Her into Sandys household. Now the game has the twin babies on the original Tiny Home lot Chihiro came from. Also, the babies are on their new home lot in Henford on Bagley. The pair on the Tine Home lot (I made it a retail store and purchased it) wont age up but, I think, they are functional babies. In Henford on Bagley those 2 age up and act like proper infants. Tho I spent only 2 min max with them to find out.
Is there a fix? Is this new? Do I need to provide any more info?
