Personally, I did not know the game made a backup. I was able to recover to a point after Mom, Chihiro Hashimoto, and the twins moved into Mt. Komorebi but before Dad separated from his family He was living with.
I went to the documents folder in Windows and manually backed up the folder "saves" before and after I recovered the game in question.
Thanks. I think there was a similar report somewhere. I'll check if I can make this happen in any way.
