I wasn't able to find a bug report already for this, so my apologies if I did miss something similar.
Recently been playing a challenge and I have several lot challenges set including off-grid, volcanic activity, and earthquakes set to the lot. The three challenges function just fine and, generally speaking, when my lot has a reserve of power my sim is able to bake without issues.
However, whenever anything disrupts the action of baking, the sim cannot resume after the fact and gets stuck. So power running out, earthquakes, or volcanic activity that scares the sim will stop them baking and then they can't resume. So far, when this has happened, the in progress item is already in the oven at the time and there's no option on the oven to 'resume baking [item]'. The normal pie menu will pop up and if I try to get my sim to bake something else, they might get the dough or batter out of the fridge but then they stand there doing nothing and will put the item on the ground and the action gets stuck in the queue. The only option that works is 'clean up'.
So far, the only way I'm able to bake again is by closing my game, clearing my cache, and restarting.
