[BH] Can’t open small business

The above worked for me. Had the same issue on PC after achieving a 5 star business and closing for the day, and had sim living on the same lot as my small business.

Steps to Fix:

1. Saved lot and placed it onto another lot within the world
2. Moved sim to that new lot to test if it now worked, which it did
3. Went back to original lot, and bulldozed it.
4. Went back to main map and placed the saved lot back down in its original place.
5. Hopped back to sim and moved back onto original lot, with the building now replaced, and worked fine again as normal

Bit of a workaround, but at least it works until the devs hopefully fix it sooner rather than later 😄

Confirmed lot replacement works. Specifically if the lot was renamed from generic to small business. Sim will have to repurchase the lot, but the UI panel shows they still own it. Also the small business activity settings will have to be readjusted and re-saved. But it should work quite smoothly after that. 

Replacing the lot worked for me. 

UPDATE: So I went back to my previous save file and turned the Willow Creek gym into a small business. Then I picked some random a** sim to own it. Went to open the business and there was NO issue. This led me to believe it was the lot that was the problem in the original post. I built it myself BUT I built it ahead of pack release, so it was originally named as a generic lot. I went back to the lot in question, uploaded it to my library as a small business and then replaced the lot. The original sim had to repurchase it, even though she still showed as the owner AND the settings had to be readjusted. But there were no further issues and the persisting  issues were due to object placement and other user errors. So it does work and it works just fine. I just needed to replace the build as a Small Business. Originally, I changed it from generic to small business and then had my sim purchase it. Hope that helps yall. Dag dag! 

I sold the lot. Then Opened a business at open and then rebought it and was able to open again. So it seems fine for me now

Having this issue as well. Also, the map view shows that my sim owns the business, but her UI panel says she has no business.

It’s a small business lot and i had it to residential rental before. And i figured out that is the problem. Because every other lots work. 

I'm having this same problem on xbox, small business is a completely separate lot.

It was never a rental lot

It's a small business venue lot

Only one lot for the business 

Not other small businesses in the house
