[BH] Can't select lot for small business

To be sure, this is for a small business venue not a residential lot ? Was there ever a residential rental on that lot ?

I commented on that one too, it was an empty residential lot and when I placed the small business/built-it I changed the lot type to Small Business venue. It let me open it while I was there but after I went home and came back it wouldn't open again because of it not being assigned to a lot. I was able to fix it by buying the lot again then the small business panel. However I had already paid for the lot and business in full once already, so I had to cheat the money back.

To be clear she owned it as an empty small business lot. After placing a lot from the gallery and setting up/renovating to match my business it wouldn't allow me to assign it to the lot I owned. I had to buy it again for it work.

Would you mind adding some pictures to illustrate ?

There's currently a few similar issues and it's a bit hard to tell if they are connected or the same or completely different.

I dont have any from the specific issue I described. Here is one from her husband's business with some issue but it's not the same. 

The issue I described it was in this same menu but the lot she was on wasn't listed to choose from. I had to buy it a 2nd time for it to work.

Having this same issue. I haven't started playing the business at all. First I bought the empty park lot [Small Business VENUE] in Nordhaven, then registered a small business. Then I bulldozed the empty lot and made a building there, assigned the rooms and furnished. 

When I open the business panel it only has the Sim's HOUSE listed as [Small Business Residential], and the [Small Business VENUE] that I bought was no longer listed. I went to the lot and it says no business assigned. I read in here that you'd have to re-sell then buy it again but the lot costs quite a fortune now that it's a full-fledged building. Help? 😕
