[BH] Can't teach family recipe

I am playing on the PC version of the game, no mods, and my Sim can't teach either of her two children any family recipe. Previously it was only the daughter who she couldn't teach but it has now changed so it is both of them.

It seems like when they were children there was a negative sentiment for a time, but even though the sentiment has ended, they still can't teach them. I've been trying since they were children, both are now young adults. I think the same thing has happened with the son whereby, even though their relationship is really good, they've had a one off negative sentiment and now they're locked from ever teaching them recipes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I play on PC, use no mods or cc, and the option to “teach a family recipe” no longer works. When I click on it, the menu with the recipes and aims to teach to just doesn’t show up. The first issue I noticed was all family recipes disappeared. Six generations of recipes, all gone. So I recreated as many as I could then tried to teach them to my sim’s young adult child, but the menu just never pops up. I have restarted my game multiple names, no luck. :(

Coming back to update that I was able to use mods to cheat away a hidden sentiment and pass down the recipes.

Which mod? I haven't been able to figure out WHAT negative sentiment is even there, they have nothing on their thing and the mod I found makes you choose the specific sentiment. I just wanna figure out how to even find the hidden sentiment, this is so frustrating😭

Hi! This was frustrating me a lot but I think I found a work around. If you have MCCC just clear the relationship and then add it back, seems to fix it. You can add sentiments afterwards to match what you'd like.
