[BH] Customers leave shop through non-public areas

Hi,

I’ve got a two story shop and when customers leave the shop (for example when it closes) they go upstairs (into the employees only section) and then disappear.

It’s not a major bug, but in my opinion something worth mentioning.

I've had only one more business and it's not happened there. Maybe it is to do with the ladder.

Possible. Do you have any way to rebuild it on a backup of your save so you won't need one ?

I’m having a similar issue. Customers are still going into employee only areas and keep going upstairs into the residential area. I do not uses mods or cc.

  • I am having a similar issue.  So one of my employees set fire to the cooker.  No harm done other than needing to replace the cooker and counter next to it as I have the alarms and sprinkler system on the lot.  But this customer has come in through the doors after the fire and just raided my sims fridge - without paying!  And no it's not a disruptive customer, just a regular customer. Attached screenshots.  You can clearly see she's a customer and you can clearly see the area is in yellow for employees only.  I am going to try and lock this door now for employees and household only but really shouldn't have to.

Edited to add, I do not run mods.

My sim recently opened a small business (game bar) and customers are crossing walls and residential parts of the house to leave the lot.

The house is divided in two parts: the left side is the residential part where my sim lives (the rooms are properly set for this) and the right part is the game bar where rooms are set as public. The two parts communicate with doors. The front door opens to a hallway that’s set as public.

Customers enter the house via the front door, use the kiosk to pay their entry then go to the game bar, everything is fine. The problem occurs when they leave the game bar and the lot. Instead of using the front door to leave the house (like they did to enter), they cross the house, entering the residential part of the house and disappear in front of the outer wall (aka in the middle of my sim’s living room).

Any idea what might be the problem?

    I have a similar problem:

Instead of using the front door to leave the house (like they did to enter), they cross the house, entering the residential part of the house and disappear in front of the outer wall (aka in the middle of my sim’s living room).

If I delete the doors between the two areas, customers use the front door to leave (but my sim has no access to the residential part either...).
