I just downloaded and started playing hobbies and businesses. Trashely shows up and I accepted the discovery quests to starting a small business. One of the quest is to hire an employee. Well I hired an employee through the manage employee panel, but the quest didn’t clear. Is anyone else having this issue? How do I clear it?

yes, I had that too. Try hiring them by clicking on the Sim, that should clear it.
for completions sake could you please add tags for mod usage (if you use any or not)

Thank you. It cleared when I clicked on a new sim and hired them.
The "Hire an Employee" goal of the "Running a Small Business" Discovery Quest will now complete when the Employee is hired via the UI as well as via the social interaction.
Fixed in Patch 1.114.46/2.12
