Same problem. as a workaround, I use ' pickup serving '' and I separate the batch of food I cook. This way, I can receive the right amount of money. At the same time, it's not long before your fridge is full.

I was doing this too but it doesn't work on cupcakes or any of the cotton candy or lollypops as your sim will just try to eat them instead of putting them in their inventory.

In my game, the candies are at a fair price. I made a batch for 25$ and it sold for 350$. If my sim ate one serving, the price went down accordingly. I still think that every batch of food made should be bought by serving, like with Home Chef Hustle.
