Sims won't watch train when you click Watch Train on Train Station. They'll attempt to go there but then they'll go off lot. Also there is no option to have sims in a group watch trains together. I figure both of these issues can be fixed in a patch. The latter was probably just an overlook but the former is a serious bug.

train watching is working fine for me.
Did you test multiple saves ?
The train watching together is probably better of reported in feedback or at the very least make your own thread for it.
Used an older saves but it isn't working in my game.
catloverplayer what do you mean by they go off-lot ? Loading screen ?
Could you please also test another save.
They go to a far away lot but they don't disappear. Iron Seagull mentioned this glitch. I'm not the only one experiencing it. I'll try a new save when I get another chance to play.
I had the same problem before I did some testing. Did you leave a small business venue lot to go train watching? I noticed when I left that lot to go watch the train, it would let me go halfway before my sim turned around and left the station to go back to the lot. When I left a normal community lot (Nordhaven Park), I was able to do the interaction. Hopefully this helps but EA should fix it anyone along with the rest of the bugs in this game *side eyes sulani fishing bug*
I have the same problem. In a new save when my sim arrive att the train station they turn and walk far far away instead. In an old save they watch train, but there's no trains to watch.
In both new and old saves there are no trains in Iverstad and no trams in Gammelvik.
