Bills can’t be paid.
Two sim household, as of yesterday my sims can’t pay their bills. The option to pay them is available, and the bills are in the husband’s inventory, but whenever I click to pay them he just goes through the motion and no money comes out and the bills still say they need to be paid. At this point repo men keep showing up and I just delete them bc I don’t know what else to do. I’ve tried every stupid troubleshooting suggestion from the YEARS OLD posts that had the same issue and nothing has worked. Short of deleting the family and starting over idk what else to do and frankly this is ridiculous. I’m scared to play any other save since the latest update June 2025 because it seems like it completely broke my game. So far I have: deleted all pets, tried to regenerate bills, move household out and back in, added a new sim to the household, tried the auto pay cheat (did nothing, game did not even recognize a cheat had been entered), tried the force bills due cheat, tried EVERY SINGLE MAILBOX, deleted local cache.
Again, this wasn’t even an issue until the latest patch so I have a feeling it’s EA and not my mods (oh, yeah, I also tried the save without mods and it didn’t make a lick of difference).
