Mine are doing the same, loaded in-game, and most of my photos were black. So I decided to do some testing this morning. When I took the photos with the Barley Better Digital Camera with the filter set to bright, the photos didn't turn black, but when I took the photos with the Appreciably Average Digital Camera with the filter set to bright, that photo turned black as soon as I loaded back in the game!
All the photos taken in this second picture were taken with the Crystal Clear Digital Camera, and all of them turned black except for two pictures; all of them had the filter set to bright as well.
I pulled a brand new Sims 4 folder and tested the black photos that way; my results are in the pictures below. The Barley Better Digital Camera didn't cause the pictures to go Black in my test, but the higher-end cameras did if they had a filter added to them!
