Black Photos (Patch 1.119.109)

I startet a new game (PC - no mods).

My Packs: EP: 01-16 // GP: 01-08,10,12 // SP: 01-03,05-09,11,13-18,26,29,35,38,46,48,49

Edit: Also Photos on the wall getting black after restarting game.

I stored photos in the DIY Chest and reload the savegame. If you open the DIY Chest you can see the preview image BUT if you put them on the wall, the photos turn into black.

I remember that in the past this bug was an issue before, than it was fixed and later come back.

I've really lost all hope when such obvious and easily verifiable bugs still slip through after a patch like this.

Hi all, this issue was fixed in update 1.120.140/ 2.26

Photos captured with Phone/Camera will no longer turn black once they’ve been put in Sim’s Inventory or placed in storage chests and the game is relaunched. This fix is not retroactive and will not address instances where photos were already missing data, but the fix will prevent this from happening in the future (even in old saves).

Hi. I’d like to add some information.
I’ve had many paints by reference in my game. I do not use a filter.
After the Jan update turned all my previously unaffected paintings white, I replaced the painting manually using sims 4 studio.
The first time I opened the save (after I’ve restored all the paintings manually) the painting were all there. As I played the game and saved progress via “save as”, the painting slowly got deleted/ turned back to blank canvasses again. When I checked sims 4 studio, the custom game texture disparaged again.And I had to again, manually add it back.
I gave up after a while as I realise, as long as I had progress and saved my game, the paintings eventually turned white. So this bug appears to be a “saving game” issue. Everytime I save the game, (and I’ve checked with just “save” and “save as”), paintings by reference turn blank randomly.
