Sim does not write in other laptop if first occupied

Prerequisites:

  • To have two sims


Steps to reproduce:

  • Buy a laptop
  • Start writting a book with the sim A
  • Cancel the task (not the book)
  • Go to build section
  • Buy another laptop
  • With the sim B, use the first laptop
  • With the sim A, selects the second laptop and click on continue writting the book

 

Current result:

  • The sim A refuse to write in the second laptop and it complains that the laptop is being used by the sim A, but the second laptop is free

 

Expected result:

  • The sim A should use the second laptop to write because it is the selected one and because the option was there

 

NOTE: No mod installed

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • If you just the other laptop, do they use it to resume writing properly ?
    • Do you have issues with any other computer interactions ?

    • No mod installed
    • The sim who is occuping the first laptop is working fine. If the sim who does not want to write in the second laptop (because feels that the first one is occupied) try another interaction, it is working fine.
    • I have tried only with write. I do not know if it is happening with coding or another one.

    • Did you never have mods or remove them ? 
    • If you remove the first laptop and just have the second one, can you resume writing ? There's a few issues with resuming writing so it's important to know if it's the placement of the laptop, a general issue with resume writing or an issue with having two laptops

    • I have never installed mod
    • I have to test it. I will try tomorrow
