I logged into my saved game only to find more than half my furniture missing and opening the build buy only sticks me in a place where build buy options never show, and I can't exit out of the build ...
Ideas
Could you please provide the following information
- Did you move out your mods folder and delete the localthumbcache file or just disable them in the game ?
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac)
- Did you check your household inventory if the furniture is there ?
- Do yo use moveObjects to place stuff ?
I am on a PC and yes I removed mods folder and cleared cache file.
Before you suggest it, no, my PC is not the problem. It is up to date.
I cannot check the household inventory, I cannot check or do anything in build buy. It is nothing but a blank blue empty space with no tabs, no buttons, no objects, no furniture, nothing. -And like I said before, once I click into build buy mode I'm forever stuck there because the button to go back to live mode is forever glowing blue and unclickable so I'm forced to forfeit the game entirely.
I'm unable to even activate the moveobjects cheat and it would make no difference if I did or didn't.
I WAS going to post a screenshot, but now when I click "play" my game pulls up a never-ending "launching game" wait bar that does not go away or launch the game now.
My game was working just fine a few weeks ago, but now it's gone from crap bugs, to never-ending launch mode. How lovely!
Before you suggest it, no I am not going to uninstall then reinstall the game...I already had to do that months ago when the enchanted by nature game pack game me nothing but **bleep**e, and ever since I had to do that, I have lost every single custom sim and custom build that I've ever spent hours making, so I will not be re-installing everything all over again
