I've an attic built with roofs that's acessible through a ladder on the second floor. However, the lights from the attic and the rooms bellow the attic (second and first floors) don't light up in the evening only at night, then they turn off in the morning. I had to place walls around the ladder (on the second floor) so that those lights could be turned on. Moreover, my sims are unable to vacuum the floor from the attic - which means that a room built with roofs isn't properly recognised as such by the game.
