Burglar: Recovered Stolen Objects Not Returned to Inventory

PC: 1.116.240.1020

[Search field for burglars didn't return anything about recovered objects in inventory.]

This was my first time having a burglar successfully steal objects. The Sim fought and won and the notification indicated the stolen objects were returned to the inventory but they were not. I exited the household, returned, still nothing. Restart the game, cleared cache, no success.

First time so I don't know if this started at any particular update, etc.

Edit By Crinrict: Removed pack tag. Burglars are base game. Also formatting.

My Sim is just in a regular house. I have no extra packs or mods. I'm still learning! Thanks for your reply though!

While I had the luck that my items reappeared, one of my stolen "items" was a fully upgraded Steampunk Flyamajig rocket.
I did get it back, but I had to build it up once more and all the upgrades were lost, a lot of Simoleons gone. :(

For me whether my sims fight the burglar or call the cops the items stolen are never returned at all.

Just happened to me! I lost my stove. I called the police they came caught the burglar and my stove is gone not in any inventory. I hope EA fixes this bug soon.
