Burglars just disappeared/Not Robin Banks when using Cheat

I play on console and only have a handful of packs. I played for a sim week with the burglar challenge on and still got nothing so I decided to cheat it. When I try cheating it, the burglar will show around midnight, I’ll get the notification and the music but then they just run away and disappear. They never enter my sims house or steal anything and it won’t let me interact with the burglar at all. I don’t have an alarm system and made sure the door was unlocked. Not sure what is causing this. And not sure if it’s related or not but the burglar is not Robin Banks, it’s a make sim

Yeah, she's been dead for a long while, but I only had her once before she was replaced with others. I'll try the cheat real quick. I honestly forgot there was a cheat for it.

Edit: Scheduling the Burglar did summon one!

did Robin Banks die ? Sounds like the game maybe failed to create a new burglar.

My Sims haven't been robbed in what would be considered years in the Sims. Before it would happen at least a couple times a generation, now it has been at least 5 generations. They briefly moved from their home in Windenburg to an apartment in San Myshuno, but they're back at the Windenburg house. Neither home had a burglar visit.

I don't know if it is because this save file is almost 6 months old and there are 21 generations, but it'd be nice to see the burglar again. 😆

could be a problem with the cheat you used.

Can you play on and see if the same occurs if the burglar comes on their own
