I greatly appreciate the option to turn off burglars in the Sims 4, as this is not something I want in most of my games. I unchecked the "allow burglars" box and figured if I ever wanted them, I'd go in and check it on again. However, every time I go into my settings (I check after each update, and sometimes just in the middle of a game to tweak something) burglars are enabled again! I do not want this! If I wanted burglars enabled I would do so, but I do not want them checked on by default.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- Is this the only option that doesn't stay ?
- Have you already tried trashing your options.ini and let the game create a new one ? You'll need to reset everything once though.
