On lots that are near where the game spawns butterflies, they fly through the lot (house) day and night. It happens in all worlds across all saves. In one save I’m in Del Sol Valley/Mirage Park: Upland Place, also Willow Creek/Sage Estates: Oakenstead. In another Willow Creek/Courtyard Lane: Rindle Rose. They go pretty quickly but, it’s daily and annoying.

It was actually happening before the weather effects bug. I believe it started after they fixed the issue with seeing thought bubbles through walls. It was kind of hard to notice at first but I keep seeing the blue and red butterfly at random times in the houses. I moved lots because it was driving me crazy :)
The weather effects bug was also happening for some folks before it started happening for everyone. There was an older bug report for it too.
I do think I saw butterflies reported before too though. Just couldn't find the thread.

Do you have Island living? The reason I ask is I recently completed the conservation career and cleared up Mua Pel'am in Sulani and for several in game weeks after I had butterflies inside my houses in all worlds. I figured it was a bug. No issues with bird though like seen in the pictures above (unless I build really high up).
NO I haven't. and not high up. This is a two-story building on a 20 x 15 lot in NewCrest.
Just go to NewCrest 20×15 lots, this bug is there.
