Cannot bulldoze generic lot

PC: 1.117.227.1030

[Searched but did not find comparable report.]

Two lots I built, one generic, the other a lounge, cannot be bulldozed. I went to the neighborhood screen, reloaded lot and issue continued. Neither lot was an owned business. The current save is mod free and contains no custom content.  The cache has been cleared (several times) and the game repaired.

Edited to Add: This issue just started today after I'd built three lots. Also the build mode bug where the selected tool cannot function twice (Use hammer once, have to select another tool then return to hammer... Every time.)

  • Hi Wndblwz

are you getting any errors ? In the game or lastExceptions/LastUIExceptions ?

I assume it's specific to that save ? If you place the same houses on other lots, does the same happen ?

Nope, no errors or LastExceptions. I had two saves: The first had mods (MCCmd and some LittleMsSams). I removed the mods, started a new save. Same results. I did place the two houses on other lots, same result. Other houses on different lots are having the same tool issue. [Side note: I wound up dismantling one house one tile at a time. LOL]

Do you have them in the gallery or could you upload (just put some warning that it's for testing)

I will upload them and provide deets here. Note: I just started a new game... No issues. I will place the houses in that game and see what happens.

    HI Wndblwz

So it's only an issue in that one save game ? Do you have any signs of corruption there ?

II don't need to test the lots if you can't duplicate it in a new save

It appears to be that one save game. I read somewhere that large numbers of big lots with lots of objects can ultimately lead to corruption... (Is that correct?) so I cleaned up my library and started getting rid of lots. The original save game played nicely for several hours then crashed.

The corruption issue has many facets but if you have large house with lots of objects, lots of Sims, yes it can happen.

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

Let me know which lots you have the issue with (in your save)
