Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the "Pay Bills" option, either via the phone or the mailbox.
What happens when the bug occurs? The progress bar (circle) disappears and the option remains.
What do you expect to see? The bills are paid. The progress bar moves to 100% and the option disappears.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Ever since the last patch, I can't pay my bills. The game throws an exception every time (see attached). My households' power is now shut off as a result.
